First, the excuse: I suddenly got the idea for this strip when Jeff IM-ed me to point out that (as I already knew but not until after I finished the strip) that Steel Battalion is a Capcom game, not a Sega one. I said I might do a strip about the mix-up, and he inadvertently came up with the punchline.
Next, the apology: I’m sorry about this. I didn't really want to recycle the same panel five times, but it just seemed the best way to do the joke, especially since I’ve been working weekends.
Finally, the bribe: As compensation, I’ll be doing a Thursday comic this week. I’m not quite ready to remove the “X” from the logo though.
